Costa Rica contains 2% of the world's biodiversity and is considered a hotspot for wildlife of all kinds. The question is: what happens when wild and human spaces overlap?

Over the last few decades human population has grown to 8 billion. We are consuming so many resources at a pace so unnatural it is causing our planet to overheat. We are expanding our physical space much more than before, so much so that we are causing the 6th mass extinction.

Because of this, a whole new field of questions are emerging. How do we as humans continue to coexist with wildlife? How do we balance human needs and livelihoods with protecting the natural environment?

This 2026 interview series, I will explore some of these topics with you as I talk with several key informants including carbon negative farmers, conservation leaders, and people living on the edge of natural parks and explain the most recent science on one of the most fascinating emerging fields of the time: human-wildife coexistence.

Throwback to my work in Nepal!! Will be presenting my findings at Yale soon 👀
It was my dream to teach a class on my life-long obsession on wildlife and now I’ve finally done it!
Borneo is home to some of the most unique wildlife on Earth, and this short vlog captures my time exploring its rainforests!!

This experience wasn’t just about checking off the animal bucket list. As a student conservationist I am invested in understanding why these ecosystems matter and how conservation on the ground actually looks.

Happy New Years!! My next adventure for 2026: Presenting my research at Yale!!

Borneo is one of the most biodiverse places on Earth, and also one of the most threatened. In this video, I visit orangutan and sun bear rehabilitation centers in Borneo to learn how rescued Bornean sun bears and orangutans are cared for, rehabilitated, and (when possible) prepared for life back in the wild!!

From the impacts of deforestation and the wildlife trade to the science and ethics behind rehabilitation, this experience highlights both the challenges and the hope within wildlife conservation. These centers play a critical role in protecting species that are rapidly losing habitat AND in educating the public about coexistence and conservation.

If you’re interested in wildlife biology, conservation careers, ethical wildlife tourism, or solo travel/research my channel is for you!! Please consider subscribing!!.

Thanks for watching and supporting conservation-focused travel and education 🌿

kaeng krachan national park sits on the edge of the thai-myanmar border — a massive stretch of forest filled with so much diversity. i spent one night here exploring the forest, surrounded by langurs, owls, frogs, and clouds of butterflies.
this vlog captures this incredible memory: watching monkeys in the canopy, butterflies flickering in the sun, and the amazing night walk surrounded by the sound of frogs.
