This rare armadillo from central Argentina has a pink shell and a furry body that add to it’s strange appearance. They can grow to be 4.5 inches and weigh around 4 ounces. They have a life span of around 10 years and have rarely been seen by humans, making it very hard to study them.

Saiga

The Saiga is a critically endangered part of the antelope family and are native to central Asia. Their noses remind me of the elephant seal, infamous for their long noses. Like the Pink Fairy Armadillo, they can live to around 10 years.
